AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) is excited to announce that as part of Sunday Funday kids will get in for free to the Toyota AFL Round 18 game between Melbourne and the West Coast Eagles on Sunday 21 July at TIO Traeger Park (2:50pm ACST) in Alice Springs.
All juniors 14 years and under can take advantage of the free general admission benefit but will still need to have an allocated ticket for entry, so are encouraged to jump on the NTix website, or visit the Darwin Entertainment Centre to put their order in.
Please note: Sunday Funday free admission for children only applies to the Round 18 Melbourne vs West Coast Eagles game in Alice Springs, and there is a cap of four per transaction (with a transaction fee applying).
Next Saturday’s AFL Round 11 Melbourne vs Adelaide game in Darwin is a fully ticketed event, and fans are encouraged to get their tickets online to avoid disappointment.
In addition, all other tickets to the Alice Springs game in July are also now on sale through the same online and physical outlets. If enough tickets remain, then they will be available for purchase at the gate on the day.
But given it’s the reigning premiers heading for the Red Centre for the first time in more than six years, those wanting to be part of the action are encouraged not to delay.
General admission adult tickets start from $25, and Bowden McAdam Grandstand seats can be snapped up for $37.50.
There are also plenty of corporate hospitality packages available.
All tickets allocated for the AFL game will also guarantee entry for the Redtails vs Top End Storm curtain-raiser, the second year in a row that some of the best footballers across the NT will play the lead-in game.

Can Melbourne secure its third straight win at TIO Traeger Park led by key ruckman Max Gawn and the speedy likes of Angus Brayshaw and Jeff Garlett or will they be outdone by the Eagles and their talented livewire forwards, Willie Rioli and Liam Ryan?
This year will be Melbourne’s tenth consecutive year of playing home games in the NT, and it’s with thanks to the Northern Territory Government (NTG) and AFL, who have worked hard with AFLNT and Melbourne FC to sign a one-year agreement covering 2019.
Melbourne has had a strong presence in the region over the years, supporting several Northern Territory-based initiatives, such as the education of Indigenous eye health and trachoma disease and also has its Next Generation Academy covering the Central Australian region.
