As of close of business Friday 10 February 2017, the Tiwi Bombers Football Club has cleared its outstanding debt with AFL Northern Territory and will play for points in the remaining rounds of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League.
The decision to remove the club's points for the Round 16 win stands, as per point 13 (a) of the NTFL License Agreement.
AFLNT will work closely with the Tiwi Bombers Football Club, Northern Territory Government and other key stakeholders to review the club's current financial position and will endeavour to work towards a plan that secures the Tiwi Bombers long term future.
