TIO NTFL MATCH REVIEW PANEL
FULL STATEMENT: 2016/17 TIO NTFL SEASON

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Round 15 of the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Season.
 
The following charges have been laid in the senior divisions:   

MEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE

Keiran Apuatimi, Tiwi Bombers Football Club, has been charged with striking, during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Nightcliff and Tiwi Bombers at TIO Stadium on Saturday 28 January 2017.
 
Based on the umpire's report and video evidence, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact, resulting in a two-match penalty.
 
In summary, Apuatimi can accept a one-match penalty with an early guilty plea.

Celement Kerinaiua, Tiwi Bombers Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct, during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Nightcliff and Tiwi Bombers at TIO Stadium on Saturday 28 January 2017.

Based on the umpire's report and video evidence, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as careless, low impact and high contact, resulting in a one-match penalty.

In summary, Kerinaiua can accept a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Jalen Clarke, Darwin Buffaloes Football Club, has been charged with tripping, during the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between St Mary's and Darwin Buffaloes at TIO Stadium on Sunday 28 January 2017.

Based on the umpire's report and video evidence, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and contact to the body, resulting in a one-match penalty. 

In summary, Clarke can accept a reprimand with an early guilty plea.
