AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) is pleased to announce that Stuart Totham has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The current Chairman of Cazalys Palmerston Club and Plamerston Golf Club, Totham who was raised in Darwin, has more than 15 years experience as a sports administrator.
He has extensive experience in the unique dealings of local football and was the inaugural CEO of NT Thunder, overseeing the Club for three years, including its 2011 premiership success.
Totham is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants and has worked for both private businesses and public sectors.
AFLNT CEO Michael Solomon said he was looking forward to having Totham join the team on November 10.
“I was really pleased with the caliber of applicants we received for the COO role and believe we have found the right person for the job.
“Stu is a strong communicator who is just as set on being results-focused as he is in empowering those he works with. Given his extensive professional background and the great work he did in setting up NT Thunder I know he will be an important inclusion to the AFLNT team,” Solomon said.
Totham said he was looking forward to getting back into AFL.
“The football landscape has changed since I last worked in NT football, so I am excited to get started next week and to see how far it has all come.
“I believe my values are in-line with the core values of AFLNT and look forward to working with the whole team for the betterment of this great game,” Totham said.
