Some of the top talent from the women’s AFLNT State Academy will head to Adelaide this weekend to play South Australia in a curtainraiser to the AFL Round 10 game between the Adelaide Crows and GWS Giants at Adelaide Oval.

The NT side will be coached by Crows legend Andrew McLeod and AFLNT High Performance Manager Wally Gallio.
Gallio said it was another fantastic opportunity for the NT women to test their skills in what is traditionally their ‘off-season’.
“We have been invited to play the South Australians in what will be their final hit-out before they play NSW/ACT in June.
“It is an honour to be asked and we will hopefully give them a good showing,” Gallio said.
17 women from the NT will make the trip, with the rest of the side topped up by SA players.
