TOYOTA LAUNCHES NEW GRASSROOTS FOOTY FUNDRAISER IN THE NT

Toyota and AFL Northern Territory have teamed up to announce the Toyota Good For Footy Raffle, an initiative designed to help grassroots footy clubs help themselves, has been launched in the Territory for the first time.

The Toyota Good for Footy Raffle is one of the largest grassroots footy fundraising events in Australia and sees registered clubs take home 100% of the revenue raised through the sale of $5 raffle tickets.

There are plenty of great prizes on offer, plus Toyota has generously donated a brand new car for the major prize – a new-look Fortuner Crusade.

AFLNT Manger of Club and Game Development Jennifer Le Quesne said it was great that clubs in the Territory are able to participate in the nation-wide fundraiser.

“This is the first time the raffle has been accessible to NT football clubs and I encourage each club to become involved.

“The good news is there’s no cost in taking part and getting involved is easy. Footy clubs simply register online at the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle website to receive their free raffle books. Clubs then sell tickets for $5 each and keep every dollar,” Le Quesne said.

Bridge Toyota Dealer Principal, Steve Harris said “Grassroots footy clubs are the lifeblood of communities in the Territory and we are proud to be teaming up with AFL Northern Territory to make clubs stronger and better places to be with this fantastic fundraising initiative.

“We are excited to have NT based football clubs included in the national promotion of the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle for the first time, a truly great result for football in the Territory,” Harris said.

The Toyota Good for Footy Raffle will run until 6 July 2016. The lucky major prize winners will be announced on 19 August 2016.
