Gold Coast Suns players Liam Patrick and Jarrod Harbrow visited the remote NT community of Lajamanu on Thursday 17 May.
Arriving from Darwin just after 10:15am, the boys headed straight to the local school for a visit, conducting presentations and giveaways and delivering positive messages to kids about healthy living.
An early lunch was called at 11:30am, where AFLNT staff handed out bottles of Mount Franklin water to school children to promote healthy drinking initiatives.
Patrick and Harbrow then went to the local football club where they conducted a training session with footballers with great scenes of children enjoying a kick of the footy.
Emotional scenes then ensued when the boys visited the home of Liam Patrick’s parents, the first time Patrick had been home to Lajamanu since November of last year.
At 2pm, Patrick and Harbrow departed Lajamanu and returned to Darwin leaving a lifetime of lasting memories for local community members.
