The SDFC would like to say a very big thankyou to everyone that came along to the Home game on Sunday.

The day was used as a fundraiser for the Queensland Flood Appeal and at the moment the total raised on the day is above $12,500.

The club donated all gate takings for the day and a very big thankyou to St Marys Football Club who matched that amount. We also had a couple of buckets at the ground as well and a 50m Sprint (more like slow motion but it was funny) between Ray McCasker, President of SDFC and Damien  Hale, Premier League Coach of St Marys (and the winner of the race) that raised money as well. A lot of people were very generous for the amount they donated.

A special thankyou to Radio station Mix FM 104.9 who promoted the event in the days leading up to Sunday. Also thanks to the AFLNT and the players and supporters of the St Marys, Pint and University Football club's who attended the day.

Junior Training Recommencing

Under 14s and under 16s training recommences this Tuesday 18th January. All players required to attend training any new players welcome. Games recommence on the weekend of the29th and 30th of January.
