AFLNT Community Partner beyondblue: the national depression initiative is urging all Mo Bros and Mo Sista's to take part in the tradition that has become Movember.
Each Movember we challenge men to change their appearance and the face of men's health by growing a moustache. The moustache is our ribbon, the means by which we raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer and depression in men programs. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, our commitment is to grow a moustache for 30 days. Funds are committed to our men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue: the national depression initiative and the Movember Foundation. Together, the three channels work to ensure that Movember funds are supporting a broad range of innovative, world class programs in the fields of research, education, support, and awareness.
