The 2010 Under 16 Youth Girls Territory Championships is about to get underway.
With 8 sides confirmed from :-
Darwin
Northern Suburbs
Palmerston

Jabiru
Exciting times are ahead for female football in the Territory. The girls will be exposed to the draft camp style testing while in Darwin so that we can begin to monitor their progress over the next 2 years.
These girls will make up the first under 18 squad to compete for the NT in 2012 at the National Under 18 carnival. We believe that by identifying these talented athletes early , we can begin the refining process early and field a well drilled highly skilled side.
Girls from the carnival will be invited into the inaugural Thunder U 16 Talent Squad for girls. The concept is still in its infancy but will gain momentum as support grows.

8:00am Shuttle bus departs St Johns College for TIO Stadium
8:30am Opening Function in Kantillas Room (level 3) Official welcome
9:00am Participant packs given out
9:30am Proceeed to testing stations
10:00am Draft Camp testing begins
12:00pm Lunch
1:45pm Matches begin
4:00pm Matches end
5:00pm Shuttle bus departs for St Johns College
