POSITION VACANT: TALENT AND COACHING MANAGER

NT Thunder and AFLNT are seeking suitable applicants for the Talent and Coaching Manager that will manage the high profile portfolio of coordinating the NT representative teams for the U16 and U18 NAB AFL National Championships.

NT Thunder has just completed its second season in the AFLQ competition with some outstanding results both on and off the field. Under direction from AFLNT, NT Thunder will be managing the NT Thunder U16 and U18 programs for the 2011 season.
The NT Thunder Talent & Coaching Manager is an important position in the new integrated structure. Reporting to the CEO, in conjunction with the NTFC Head Coach and NTIS Head Coach they will be responsible for delivery of talent and coaching programs throughout the NT, including the overall coordination of the U16 and U18 teams at the National Championships with a particular focus on:

  1. Managing and devleoping an exciting and innovative Talent program in conjunction with the NTFC & Northern Territory Institute of Sport (NTIS) staff;
  2. Develop regional and remote talent programs to increase total player talent pool;
  3. Coordination of coach education programs across the Northern Territory;
  4. Developing strong relationships at all levels of AFL football in the Northern Territory.

The Northern Territory Football Club is looking for an individual with proven team leadership experience, outstanding people and relationship building skills, high level, strong coaching and development background and can demonstrate a superior organisation and planning ability.
