TIO Traeger Park

The Jewel in the centre

TIO Traeger Park Oval, known as the jewel in the centre, is the premier playing field in Alice Springs. TIO Traeger Park Oval has beautifully manicured lawns which are meticulously maintained to perfection and attracts national sporting fixtures to the region.

TIO Traeger Park hosts one Toyota AFL Home and Away game per year. It is also the base of the Central Australian Football League (CAFL) and is the second home to NT Thunder, which plays in the North East Australian Football League (NEAFL). It hosted the 2011 NEAFL Grand Final, where NT Thunder defeated Ainslie 16.18.114 - 13.14.92. 

Facilities include a 225 seat grandstand, corporate and media boxes and it is home to the Central Australian Football League (CAFL) administration team. 

TIO Traeger Park has hosted NRL Home and Away games as well as national and international cricket fixtures.
