Brian Stanislaus
Brian “Broady” Stanislaus is a St Mary’s and Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) representative goalkicking champion, eight-time NTFL premiership player and three-time grand finalist, Stanislaus played in a golden period with St Mary's.
Stanislaus started his representative career as an NT underage player participating in Primary, Secondary and Teal Cup levels from 1983-1988.
He became a senior NTFL representative player in 1990 an incredible 14 times against AFL and state league clubs; Essendon, St Kilda, Hawthorn, Melbourne, Fremantle, Brisbane, Collingwood, Richmond, Port Adelaide, South Fremantle, Norwood and representative teams ACT and the Victorian Football Association.
Sydney Football Club drafted Stanislaus in 1990 playing one AFL senior match against the newly formed Adelaide Crows. He also played state league football with West Adelaide, East Perth and North Launceston.
St Mary’s club awards include two club best and fairest awards, club captaincy for two seasons, club leading goalkicker six times, which consists of three seasons as the NTFL leading goalkicker.
Stanislaus finished top three in the NTFL's Nichols Medal on two occasions.
He was awarded AFLNT Player Life Membership in 1999 on the way to a total career playing record of 258 club games and 776 goals.
