The 2024 Marsh AFL National Development Championships – U16 Boys will kick off this Saturday, June 8 with a double-header at Sandringham’s Trevor Barker Beach Oval.

Northern Territory and Tasmania will meet in the opening match at 11:30am AEST, ahead of a clash between Victoria Metro and Victoria Country from 2:30pm AEST.

The action then moves to Carlton’s IKON Park on Sunday, June 9 where both Victorian teams will commence their 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships – U18 Boys campaigns.

Victoria Metro will host the Allies at 10:05am AEST, before Victoria Country takes on South Australia from 12:30am AEST.

The 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships – U18 Boys began last month, with South Australia defeating reigning title-holder the Allies at Thebarton Oval in the opening game, before the Allies bounced back last weekend to down Western Australia at Blacktown International Sportspark.

2024 MARSH AFL NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS – U16 BOYS

Pool A will feature four teams, including South Australia, Victoria Country, Victoria Metro and Western Australia.

Pool B will comprise six teams, including the Brisbane Lions Academy, Gold Coast Suns Academy, GWS Giants Academy, Northern Territory, Sydney Swans Academy and Tasmania.

The first round of fixtures will see matches played across four states, with all matches in the final two rounds to be played on the Gold Coast from July 8 to 12 during the school holidays.
