TIO NTFL MATCH REVIEW PANEL - ROUND 7

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed all matches played in Round 7 of the 2016/17 TIO NTFL Season.

The following charges have been laid:

MEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE Keegan Dingo, Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct, during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Southern Districts and Nightcliff at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting in a two-match suspension. In summary, Dingo can accept a one-match penalty as an early guilty plea.

Daniel Motlop, Wanderers Football Club, has been charged with engaging in a melee, during the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Wanderers Football Club and St Mary's Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should result in a one-match suspension. In summary, Motlop can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.

Thomas Motlop, Wanderers Football Club, has been charged with wrestling, during the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Wanderers Football Club and St Mary's Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should result in a one-match suspension. In summary, Motlop can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.

Marius Clarke, St Mary's Football Club, has been charged with engaging a melee, during the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Wanderers Football Club and St Mary's Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should result in a one-match suspension. In summary, Clarke can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.



Shannon Rioli, St Mary's Football Club, has been charged with wrestling, during the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Wanderers Football Club and St Mary's Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should result in a one-match suspension. The player has a bad record of a reprimand for a low level offence within the last 12 months which increases the sanction to a two-match suspension. In summary, Rioli can accept a one-match suspension as an early guilty plea.

Michael Coombes, St Mary's Football Club , has been charged with engaging in a melee, during the first quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Wanderers Football Club and St Mary's Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should result in a one-match suspension. In summary, Coombes can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.

Henry Armour, Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct, during the fourth quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Premier League match between Southern Districts Football Club and Nightcliff Football Club at TIO Stadium on Saturday 19 November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as careless, high impact and high contact resulting in a three-match suspension. The player has a bad record of a reprimand for a low level offence within the last 12 months which increases the sanction to a four-match suspension. In summary, Armour can accept a three-match suspension as an early guilty plea.

MEN'S DIVISION ONE Braun Maslan, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with striking, during the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division 1 League match between Tracy Village Football Club and Palmerston Football Club at Tracy Village on Sunday 20th November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, high impact and high contact and is being referred to the tribunal.

Kaine Bell, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with rough conduct, during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division 1 League match between Tracy Village Football Club and Palmerston Football Club at Tracy Village on Sunday 20th November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and body contact resulting in a one-match suspension. In summary, Bell can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.

Lucas Hibberd, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with striking, during the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division 1 League match between Tracy Village Football Club and Palmerston Football Club at Tracy Village on Sunday 20th November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and high contact resulting in a two-match suspension. In summary, Hibberd can accept a one-match suspension as an early guilty plea.

Robert Marks, Palmerston Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene behavior towards or in relation to an umpire, after the final siren of the TIO NTFL Men's Division 1 League match between Tracy Village Football Club and Palmerston Football Club at Tracy Village on Sunday 20th November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be referred to the tribunal.

MEN'S DIVISION TWO

Daniel Hill, Jabiru Football Club, has been charged with forceful front-on contact, during the second quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division 2 League match between Jabiru Football Club and PINT Football Club at Asbuild Oval 2 on Sunday 20th November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as careless, severe impact and high contact and is being referred to the tribunal.

Karl Foran, University Football Club, has been charged with head-butt/ contact using head, during the third quarter of the TIO NTFL Men's Division 2 League match between University Club and Mindil Sharks Football Club at Asbuild Oval 1 on Sunday 20th November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be classified as intentional, low impact and body contact resulting in a one-match suspension. In summary, Foran can accept a reprimand as an early guilty plea.

HICKMAN U16 BOYS Peter Lake, Southern Districts Football Club, has been charged with abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene language, after the full time siren of the Hickman Under 16 Boys League match between Southern Districts Football Club and Nightcliff Football Club at TIO Oval 2 on Sunday 20th November 2016. Based on an incident referral, it was the view of the panel that the incident should be referred directly to the tribunal.
