Youth Girls Football Under 16 Comp

The NTFL Youth Girls Competition is being established to cater for the growing interest from teenage girls wanting to participate in Australian football in regular community competitions. With the increasing number of girls participating in the Auskick, school and junior competitions, AFL Northern Territory identified that a structured female player pathway was required.

The following clubs will be endeavoring to field sides this year -

  • Southern Districts
  • Waratahs

Its all about fun, fitness and friendship through football in a friendly environment.  The competition will allow these girls to continue playing and supporting the game, but also creating an environment to allow them to play the game with their peers in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

  • No more than 2 consecutive bounces
